Good morning my friends, today I want to talk about the fine act of ‘resting’ in the Lord. We as the body of Christ are in a serious battle. Remember what the apostle Peter says about our adversary in 1st Peter 5; how he walks about seeking someone to devour. We are promised that the Lord Himself will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you! I want to share with you one of the ways that you can strengthen yourself in a very difficult time is to remember this passage from 2nd Timothy 1:12; ‘for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that day’. Is that not fantastic! Growth in the Genuine Christian life comes thru the times of sunshine as well as the rain. This last passage I want to share with you is a promise to us as Gods prize possession in Jesus Christ: ‘when you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God’ Isaiah 43:2,3. I love you all—Jeff
